The Langley RCMP says it has not made any arrests in connection to a massive fire that destroyed a barn in Langley Township Friday.

Police say when first responders arrived on scene around 11:45 a.m., they found a barn on 102B Avenue west of 208 Street engulfed in flames.

According to the owner, she was attacked by a handyman working on this property and she suspects he was the person responsible for starting this fire.

CityNews hasn’t been able to confirm this with police.

The owner, who says she didn’t want to show her face on camera because she had bruises from the alleged attack, says she got into a fight with a hired hand who was living on the property.
