ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Saturday was a First Alert Weather Day as severe storms rolled through metro Atlanta. With that being said, thousands of people in metro Atlanta were without power as a result of the severe storms.

As of 6:45 p.m. Saturday, Baron Radar estimated that over 150,000 customers were without power in metro Atlanta.

More storms are expected the rest of the weekend as Sunday and Monday are also First Alert Weather Days.
