Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies has signed a new contract in North London after previously being linked with a transfer to Leeds United.

The full-back, 32, is currently on international duty with Wales and approaching his 100th cap. Wigth 358 appearances for Spurs, Davies had invaluable Premier League experience to offer a club like Leeds returning to the division with the aim of staying there - a target missed by the past six promoted sides.

Daniel Farke is yet to add any new members to his squad approaching the conclusion of this shorter, 10-day window at the start of June before the full summer window kicks in on June 16, and now questions are left to be answered about this possible deal in particular.
