ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Center for Disease Control (CDC) announced this week that the number of kindergarteners starting school without being fully vaccinate continues to rise.

And the CDC said more parents are getting religious exemptions from having their children vaccinated.

Tori Cosby is a mother of 4 children who lives in St. Louis and believes in vaccinating her children.

“I have had a lot of people try to talk me out of it. But I feel like it’s important,” she said.

The CDC said the number of students fully vaccinated in 2024 was 92.5%, a drop from 92.7% from the previous year.
