A Pontiac man was handed a lengthy prison sentence Wednesday for sexually assaulting an autistic teen girl.
Ronald Leon Jackson, 59, was ordered to spend 20-99 years behind bars for third-degree criminal sexual conduct and a concurrent sentence of 5-15 years for fourth degree criminal sexual conduct against the then-15-year-old girl at his home in 2022.
Jackson, sentenced as a habitual offender, was convicted of the crimes at the conclusion of a jury trial in June before Oakland County Circuit Judge Michael Warren. Following the conviction, his personal bond was revoked and he was booked into the Oakland County Jail.
The crimes occurred at Jackson’s home, discovered by the victim’s mother who subsequently reported it to police. DNA evidence supported the claims.
