A Warren man who is alleged to have directed human trafficking activities even when he was incarcerated in the Oakland County Jail was arraigned Aug. 9 on multiple felonies that could send him to prison for 20 years.

Ryan Ramone Wafford, 33, is charged with two counts of human trafficking and a third count of prostitution/accepting earnings. Novi 52-1 District Court Magistrate Michael Bosnic ordered Wafford held on $250,000 cash bond.

According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, the arrest was the result of an investigation by the Oakland County Human Trafficking Task Force.
