SOUTH SIOUX CITY, Neb. (KTIV) - Crews in South Sioux City are on the scene of a HAZMAT incident.
Around 7:30 a.m., teams, including HAZMAT, were called to the Kingsbury Interchange, the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 77.
The northbound lanes of Highway 77 have been shut down while crews work.
The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office says that there was a semi that rolled over while attempting to take Highway 77 northbound to Highway 20 westbound.
The semi was said to have pesticides and helicopter fuel onboard.
The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office says the driver was injured and taken to a hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
He added that it will be a lengthy cleanup process.
