RUSSELLVILLE, Ala. - Officers from the Russellville Police Department responded at 5:54 p.m. Wednesday to reports of a possibly intoxicated man causing disturbances and making threats.
Upon arrival, officers located the suspect, Benjamin Herche-Junior, 23, who attempted to run away. Following a brief pursuit, Herche-Junior was apprehended and resisted arrest, during which officers disarmed him of a concealed firearm.
Herche-Junior is facing multiple charges, including public intoxication, making a terrorist threat, attempting to elude law enforcement officers, resisting arrest, being a certain person forbidden to possess firearms, and three counts of assault.
