Amid this week's deluge of concert announcements, we've started to get holiday shows.

Having Christmas music on the calendar before the Minnesota State Fair feels like putting up light displays before Thanksgiving.

Nonetheless, The Blenders, Pentatonix, and The Bad Plus all put holiday shows on the schedule this week. (To be fair, The Bad Plus' annual residency doesn't actually involve holiday music, it just starts on Christmas Day.)

Here are details on those shows and others — including a free block party celebrating The Dakota's 40th anniversary and Rascal Flatts — that arrived on the Twin Cities concert calendar this week.
