COLUMBUS, Ohio — Democrat Sherrod Brown has announced he’s attempting a return to the U.S. Senate in 2026, running to hold Republican U.S. Sen. Jon Husted’s seat – at least, for the next two years.
“Ohio really doesn’t have a voice, Ohio workers don’t have a voice in Washington, period, within the Senate,” Brown said in an interview Sunday. “And I want to come back and be that voice, because I know how to do it, and I know how to be effective.”
