WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - Two people are facing charges after a Williamson County Sheriff’s K-9 found meth in their vehicle.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Carbon and Deyoung Street in Marion, Illinois, at around 9:25 p.m. on August 13.

During the stop, K-9 Roxy alerted deputies to the smell of narcotics.

Following a search of the vehicle, deputies found the passenger, Ann M. Bryant, with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Ann was arrested and cited for possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Williamson County Jail.

The driver, Richard E. Bryant, was cited for failure to signal and illegal transportation of alcohol.
