The Lynchburg area has a variety of entertainment events for people of all ages this weekend. Hill City Slide returns for another year in downtown Lynchburg, the Bedford County Fair Carnival will provide a weekend of fun and games, and a card collectors show comes to Forest.

Hill City Slide

Hill City Slide returns for another year of slippery fun in downtown Lynchburg. The event, which will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday on Church Street, features sliding fun for the whole family. The cost for the slides, which are available in two-hour slots, is $30 for adults and $20 for children. This year, an adult-only night slide will be held as well and will cost $40 per person.
