MAPLE GROVE, Minn. — The field is growing more crowded in the 2026 Minnesota Governor's race, with another Republican throwing her proverbial hat in the ring.

State Rep. Kristin Robbins (R-Maple Grove) is the chair of the House Fraud Prevention Committee, and is clearly making financial waste a cornerstone of her campaign. Robbins says she is dedicated to holding current Governor Tim Walz accountable for the fraud and "complete mismanagement of our state" over the past eight years.

"I love Minnesota, and I’ve been blessed to raise my family here. But over the last 8 years, Tim Walz has hurt families, businesses and Minnesotan’s most vulnerable citizens.
