Fulton Elementary social worker to handle caseload
The Chandler Unified School District Governing Board made a decision at its Aug. 6 meeting that caught the attention of some people, at first.
After an explanation, the decision seemed not only grounded, but it would be fiscally irresponsible to not cancel a contract.
The board voted unanimously at the meeting to approve the termination of one of the district’s agreements with Southwest Behavioral Health Services Inc. A staff report states the district and SBH mutually agreed to terminate the elementary alternative education program opportunity agreement, effective July 29.
