SHREVEPORT, La. -- Three men accused of shooting and killing a mother the night before her son’s birthday have been arrested. Shreveport had them in custody late Tuesday night -- less than 24 hours after the homicide happened. Deceldrion Gay, 19; Rodney Thomas Jr., who is turning 20 next month; and Tywann Gibson, 17, each are charged with second-degree murder. Cpl. Chris Bordelon said Gay and Thomas have a criminal background and are being investigated for another shooting.
