SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) - In August, the New York Racing Association hosted the inaugural Corgi Cup, featuring almost fifty dogs with short legs and even bigger personalities. One local corgi’s spirited sprint to the finish line, won over hearts from near and far. NEWS10’s Cassie Hudson introduces us to Abbey.

When she isn’t stealing hearts on the dirt you can find Abbey at her place of employment: The Springwater Bed and Breakfast at 94 George Street. Abbey, a 12-year-old corgi, works in guest relations (and supervises breakfast!).

In early 2025, Leslie DiCarlo found out about Eddie's Wheels for Pets in Shelburne Falls, Mass. DiCarlo said the cart changed Abbey's life, allowing her more movement.
