LOS ANGELES -- Return to the world of Pandora.

The second installation in James Cameron's blockbuster "Avatar" franchise, "Avatar: The Way of Water," is splashing back into theaters globally for a one-week special 3D re-release, beginning October 3.

Along with the re-release comes a new trailer and poster, highlighting its spectacular visual effects, which it won the Academy Award for.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, "Avatar: The Way of Water" launches the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive and the tragedies they endure.
