BOISE, Idaho — Boise Pride Festival is this weekend.
The theme of the festival is “Our Pride, Our Power.” Festival president Michael Dale said the theme “speaks to the moment we’re in — one where LGBTQ+ people in Idaho and across the country are facing renewed hostility and increasing marginalization.”

“This theme is both a reminder and a declaration: we have power in our presence, and we will continue to show up — for ourselves, for one another, and for the future we deserve,” said Dale.
The weekend lineup features free events for all ages. The parade starts at 10 a.m. on Sunday, and most of the festival is scheduled for Ann Morrison Park.
The festival is still seeking donations due to
