MIDDLETOWN, Md. — Fall is just around the corner and Summers Farm has just the activity for Capitals fans.

They created a 6-acre corn maze to celebrate Capitals left wing and captain, Alex Ovechkin , which will be open from Aug. 21 to Oct. 31.

“We wanted to honor one of the greatest athletes of our generation in a way that’s unforgettable and full of energy—just like Ovi,” said Teresa Summers, who owns and operates Summers Farm with her two sons.

The maze will feature Capitals-themed trivia to guide maze-goers.

Ovechkin surpassed Wayne Gretzky as the all-time leading goal scorer on April 6, 2025. He scored his 895th goal at UBS Arena against the New York Islanders. His number eight jersey and the number 895 will be featured on the maze.
