NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro officers and bomb threat specialists were called to the University School of Nashville in the Edgehill neighborhood Thursday morning.
Officers swarmed the area around the private school, which is located on Edgehill Avenue, around 7 a.m.

A bomb threat was received by the school during the early morning hours, according to a spokesperson for the school.
Children and faculty have been evacuated from the building and kids who were dropped off remained outside. Families have been notified they can come to the school to collect their children.
Vanderbilt University police and Metro police are coordinating the investigation.
No additional information was immediately released.
