TWIN FALLS — A 56-year-old man who investigators say has an extensive history of drug trafficking and other crimes was charged again after a search of his home and vehicles, records say.
Steven Todd Thompson, of Twin Falls, was charged with drug trafficking in methamphetamine and other drug possession charges Tuesday after his parole officer called law officers. Officers found more than 60 grams of meth, divided into 16 bags and taped to the underside of a seat in an SUV, and about 40 grams of marijuana in another vehicle.
Thompson, who was charged with five felonies, told officials the SUV did not belong to him, but an acquaintance told law officers otherwise, records say.
Thompson was on federal probation in a drug case, records say, and has a criminal history from multiple states tha
