LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two of the most dynamic wide receivers in Louisville football history — and standout members of the program’s famed AFROS (America’s Fastest Receivers on Saturdays) — will have their jerseys honored this fall at L&N Stadium.
Arnold Jackson, who rewrote the U of L record books from 1997 to 2000, will be recognized during the Cardinals’ Nov. 14 Friday night clash against Clemson.
On Nov. 29, it’s DeVante Parker’s turn, as the Louisville native and NFL first-round pick will be honored when rival Kentucky comes to town.
Before spread offenses became the norm, Jackson was already putting up video game numbers. He remains Louisville’s all-time leader in both receptions (300) and receiving yards (3,670), and was the first player in NCAA history to reach 300 career catc
