LIVONIA, La. (WAFB) - The Pointe Coupee Sheriff’s Office has issued warrants for six juveniles and one 17-year-old following a series of fights that took place at Livonia High School.
The three fights, which happened on the first three days of the new school year, left at least two students injured.

According to Sheriff Rene’ Thibodeaux with PCSO, the warrants stem from the Monday, Aug. 18, fight where a student was possibly stabbed twice near the back of the head with a pencil. The sheriff says the warrants are for students at Livonia High.
Their names or charges are not being released at this point.
The other two fights which occurred on Friday, Aug. 15, and Tuesday, Aug. 19, are still being investigated. Ad
