GREENSBORO, N.C. — A mother and her brother are facing child abuse charges after deputies found a young girl walking alone in a Greensboro mobile home park earlier this month, according to the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Danny H. Rogers said misdemeanor child abuse warrants were issued Wednesday for 34-year-old Natali Suarez, the child’s mother, and 25-year-old Gabriel Suarez, her uncle.

Gabriel Suarez was arrested with assistance from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office and is being held at the Randolph County Detention Center on a $2,500 secured bond. Natali Suarez turned herself in at the Guilford County Detention Center, where she was released on a written promise to appear.
