TYLER, Texas (KETK)-- Tyler Junior College will be holding auditions in September for their 37th annual presentation of the famous classical ballet, "The Nutcracker."

According to TJC, auditions will be held on Sept. 5 and Sept. 6 inside the dance wing of the Ornelas Center, located on Apache Pass and Palmer Avenue at the TJC central campus.

"Nutcracker season is always an exciting time, and we are thrilled to find our talented dancers and actors throughout East Texas," TJC Academy of Dance Director Carolyn Hanna said.

"This production involves diverse community members, from amateur performers to our esteemed pre-professional program dancers. It is so exciting to watch families and friends connect and celebrate through the arts — we welcome anyone who's interested to come and audition!
