LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A man accused of violating a protection order now faces child pornography charges in Lancaster County Court.
Jeremiah Nelson, 26, is charged with possession of child pornography and two counts of violating a protection order with prior convictions, according to court documents.
On July 3, Lincoln Police officers issued a warrant for Nelson’s arrest after an investigation revealed he had violated a protection order with prior felonies on his record.
The arrest affidavit shows a woman known to Nelson contacted LPD on May 12 to report that he had been contacting her through third parties and using fake social media accounts in violation of her protection order.
The arrest warrant was returned on July 7 when Nelson was contacted and arrested by officers.
