Jake Paul leaves the ring following his victory against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at Honda Center.

Editor's Note: This story has been updated to reflect that official odds have not been announced for the fight.

After endless ridicule aimed at Jake Paul, claiming he only faces opponents he knows he can beat, Paul is putting his money where his mouth is. His next fight will be against the reigning WBA lightweight champion Gervonta "Tank" Davis.

The fight will be streamed exclusively on Netflix, similar to Paul's groundbreaking fight against Mike Tyson a year ago. However, this time, Paul will not be facing a legend 30 years older than him. He'll be facing a 30-year-old champion still in his prime.

In fact, Davis has never lost a match (30-0-1). While Paul has an impressive 12-1 record, he certainly hasn't faced the same level of competition that Davis has. However, Paul seems confident in his ability to win. Via a post on X, the former YouTuber called Davis one of the "top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds. And I like my odds."

Still, despite Paul's confidence, he could be in over his head. Many experts believe this could be the first time Paul gets humiliated on the national stage. However, as history has shown, Paul continually finds ways to turn predictions on their heads. Here are the latest predictions and odds for the highly anticipated Paul vs. Davis fight.

Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis odds:

With the fight just being announced recently, many sportsbooks in the United States do not have official odds. Most likely, the specifics of the bout — including length, ring size, gloves, and any weight restrictions for two very different fighters — will need to be confirmed before odds are set.

For perspective, leading up to the fight against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., Paul was listed at -550 odds on FanDuel.

Predictions for Paul vs. Davis:

Josh Peter, USA TODAY Sports: Paul by decision

Jake Paul vs. Tank Davis is bound to end with boos. An exhibition would take away the thrill of watching Davis hunt for a knockout, and he’s not the kind of flashy boxer who can entertain without his KO power. Jake Paul to win by decision.

Ryan Garcia: Paul to win

On his X account, Garcia — who lost to Davis via seventh-round KO in 2023 — wrote that "if the fight does happen I'd bet on the heavyweight."

Ethan Diamandas, OddsShark: Davis by decision

Diamandas writes, "This fight is a mismatch on paper, but not in the usual sense. Paul has the frame of a cruiserweight, while Davis is a natural lightweight. Still, styles make fights. Paul is slow-footed, predictable and hittable. Davis is fast, explosive and fights with a professional’s understanding of rhythm and timing. Even with a physical disadvantage, Davis should consistently land clean, accurate shots and dictate the pace."
