STANTON, Neb. (KTIV) - Residents in Stanton County have been asked to boil water for the time being.
The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska posted on Facebook a notice stating Stanton County has issued a boil advisory due to E. Coli being detected in local water sources. During a boil advisory, the CDC says water from the system needs to be boiled for one minute before using it for making ice, drinking, brushing teeth or any other similar activity.
According to the tribe, this is expected to be resolved by Friday, Aug. 29.
