Just ask Ken Clark.
"Bullet pencils they call them. They pull apart and there is a short pencil in there," Clark says as he points to some of the smaller pencils.
Clark is the custodian of a 43,000 pencil collection. It started more than a century ago, when Roy Kohl started keeping pencils, which were a hot commodity during the depression of the 1930s.
But the call has been put out: let's find a home for those pencils.
"City Meat Market," Clark says as he reads some of the business names on the pencils.
