CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Steelers rookie Derrick Harmon is being ruled out of the preseason finale against Carolina with a knee injury, per the team.
"He's being evaluated," Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said.
Harmon was carted to the locker room during the first half of the game against the Panthers. He was seen limping off the field after cornerback James Pierre's interception.
"It's tough, but it's a part of the game," Steelers edge rusher T.J. Watt said. "Wishing him the best."
Before his injury, Harmon had only one tackle against the Panthers.
