Plans for a culvert preservation project along U.S. Route 322 (Horseshoe Pike) over Killinger Creek are on display online for public review.

The project, which lies just over a mile east of Campbelltown in South Londonderry and South Annville townships, is currently in the design phase, and construction work is anticipated to begin next summer and last approximately three months. Cost is estimated to be $188,055.

“The purpose of this project is to preserve the existing culvert and provide a continued safe and efficient crossing of Route 322 (Horseshoe Pike) over Killinger Creek,” the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced in a press release on Aug. 19.
