Pharmacy users warned over Bank Holiday weekend disruption

The bank holiday on August 25 will disrupt opening hours for NHS pharmacies and other services across the country. People have been warned to be proactive about their health and plan ahead.

Taking to X, the NHS warned: “Some local pharmacies may have different opening hours over the bank holiday weekend. To find an open pharmacy near you, visit https://nhs.uk/service-search/pharmacy/find-a-pharmacy ”

Pharmacy opening hours are still subject to change and customers are advised to contact their local pharmacy before attending to double check they are open on Monday. Some GP services may be available over the bank holiday weekend according to the health service.
