BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Emergency officials confirmed one person was injured in a shooting on Thursday night, Aug. 21.

The shooting happened on Greenwell Springs Road.

According to officials, the person shot was stable when taken to the hospital.

The extent of the person’s injuries has not been released.
