JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. —

The sheriff's office is investigating a man's death in an overnight shooting in Jefferson County.

It happened at 12:18 a.m. in the 4300 block of Pinson Valley Parkway, according to the coroner. That's near an industrial area at Hildegarde Drive, south of Sunhill Road NW.

Samy Alberta Estrada-Flores, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene.
