CALISTOGA, Calif. (KRON) -- The Pickett Fire burning in Napa County has grown to 6,803 acres and is 11% contained since igniting near the 2300 block of Pickett Road on Aug. 21.

Approximately 1,230 firefighters, 10 helicopters, 140 engines, 34 bulldozers and 24 water tenders are currently fighting the fire, according to Cal Fire. Firefighters are working to protect homes near Aetna Springs Road and Butts Canyon Road. As of Sunday afternoon, no homes or other structures have been damaged or destroyed by the fire.
