A large water main break flooded Main Street in Philadelphia’s Manayunk neighborhood.

The Philadelphia Water Department first responded to an eight-inch water main break on the 4300 block of Main Street around 10:20 a.m. on Friday. Video from NBC10 showed a large amount of water on the road in the area.

Officials said around 15 properties in the area are without water. Anyone experiencing flooding from the water main break should contact the Philadelphia Water Department at 215-685-6300.

Main Street is currently closed between Cotton and Levering streets. Drivers should avoid the area.
