The Uintah Basin takes care of its own and the wonderful family behind the Bluebell Cornmaze appreciates every year as the community rallies to help them support a local family in need. This year, the Lose Yourself 5K Fun Run will benefit Lydia Hampton of Bluebell. Lydia has been battling Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. She began her fight at the Huntsman several years ago and is continuing treatment at the Uintah Basin Medical Center infusion clinic with tele-oncology appointments with her doctors. Lydia’s cancer battle so far includes many years of lab draws, scans, surgery and countless miles traveled. All proceeds from this year’s ‘Lose Yourself Fun Run’ will benefit the Hamptons.
