The local chapter is putting out an urgent call for applications for a planned build on Goodale Drive, as a surprising lack of qualified applicants has put the project on hold.

“They’re ready to dig, but we’re just still looking for some more applications to find a family,” said Christina Falk, manager of chapter support for Habitat for Humanity Manitoba. “The chapter is just beside themselves. They cannot understand why more people are not applying.”
