MOREAUVILLE, La. (KALB) - The Avoyelles Mustangs are living by the motto “Don’t Get By, Get Better” this season and are ready to stun the competition with their new offense.

“‘Don’t Get By, Get Better,’ and I got that from Tim Tebow, and I want that to be the moniker every day,” said Avoyelles Mustangs Head Coach Corey Bannister. “I want them to understand that every day to get better. Don’t just accept the status quo. Be better, and that’s what we’ve been preaching since I’ve been here.”

“It’s the new offense,” said senior quarterback Kaise Gauthier. “It’s gonna work really well. It’s a good offense. I think we made a really good decision choosing it.”
