Walk at a Glance
Bridgeland sits along the north bank of the Bow River and is one of my favourite urban walking communities, thanks to its character homes, tree-lined streets, and escarpment viewpoints. The neighbourhood charm comes partly from its immigrant history and partly from rejuvenation.
In the 1800s, Germans, Italians and Ukrainians were the first people to settle in Bridgeland (then Riverside), where land was cheap.
