REHOBOTH, Mass. (WPRI) -- A "Vigil of Hope" will be held Saturday night to honor the life of Kylee Monteiro.

Police say the 18-year-old, who was 11 weeks pregnant at the time, was killed by her boyfriend, 22-year-old Gregory Groom.

The candlelight vigil will be held at 401 Winthrop Street in Rehoboth, at 7 p.m.

According to a post on social media, there will be 1,000 candles provide to those in attendance.

A gofundme has also been set up to help the family with funeral costs. As of Saturday morning, more than $15,000 has been raised.

On Wednesday, Groom was arraigned on charges of murder, assault and battery on a pregnant victim, aggravated intimidation of a witness, and domestic assault and battery.
