DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- One person was killed and another hurt in a Friday night wreck along West Camden Road in Darlington County, authorities said.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. about six miles north of Hartsville when a vehicle attempted to pass another, striking its front side, hitting a ditch, overturning and then striking a utility pole.

Officials said a driver in the 2012 Jeep was hurt and the passenger was killed. No further information was available.
