Norfolk native and Phoenix Suns center Mark Williams returned to his roots on Saturday to host the first annual Mark Williams Camp at Norfolk Academy, his former high school. The event welcomed over 200 young athletes, ranging in age from 6 to 16, for a day dedicated to basketball skill development and mentorship.
Held on the campus where Williams once honed his own skills, the camp focused on teaching the fundamentals of the game. Participants had the chance to train under the guidance of the NBA player, learning drills, techniques, and basketball IQ directly from the Suns big man.
