HOUSTON (KIAH) — Two men who posed as police officers and attempted to break into a home were fatally shot by the homeowner, according to authorities.

The individuals, reportedly wearing ski masks and tactical gear, claimed they were executing a warrant at a residence located on Bellnole in Southeast Houston.

According to the reports, the men initiated the attack by opening fire on the homeowner, who then returned fire, resulting in the deaths of both suspects.
