PATERSON, N.J. (PIX11) – Another water main break is affecting water service in Paterson, according to the Passaic Valley Water Commission.
A 42-inch water main break was reported Sunday near North 1st Street and Arch Street. Large portions of the Riverside section of Paterson will have little or no water service indefinitely, officials said.
A boil advisory is in effect for Paterson, excluding the Borough of Prospect Park and all streets south of Broadway, east of Spruce Street and west of Route 20.
People served by Manchester Utilities Authority in Haledon and North Haledon are also under a boil water advisory, officials said.
It comes just two weeks after a massive water main break near Hinchliffe Stadium left over 160,000
