Debra Frisk of Weyers Cave remembers her son, Keen Harper Frisk, as a young man who had "curly dark hair, big brown eyes, [and] a smile that would just crush you when he walked through the door. He loved life. He also looked out for the underdog. He had a lot of potential."
Frisk vividly recalls the day that he died. Keen, 23, an avid football fan, was supposed to watch the Super Bowl with her, but he never got to. His mom said he passed away on Feb. 13, 2022, Super Bowl Sunday, and he died before the game got started.
"I found a little clear baggie in his wallet," she said. "Ultimately, the coroner told me he was dead within three seconds of taking it."
