HOUSTON (KIAH) — Houston Police report that an officer was recently involved in a traffic collision, resulting in the officer's patrol vehicle ending up in a swimming pool while children were present.

The incident took place on White Oak Boulevard in the Heights neighborhood of Houston, around 6:30 p.m. the previous evening.

According to police statements, the officer's vehicle struck another car, also causing a fence to be damaged, and finally came to rest partially within the pool.

There were no reported injuries to anyone involved in the incident.
