LARAMIE — The Cowboys’ offensive line is in a better place than it was a year ago, returning three starters in the middle of the trenches.

A pair of preseason All-Mountain West selections in Jack Walsh and Caden Barnett highlight the group. Both slid over one spot after last season, with Walsh to center and Barnett to right guard. Wes King is the other returning starter at left guard.

Both offensive tackle spots will be decided in fall camp. Top candidates include Nathan Geiger, Rex Johnsen, Jake Davies, Giovanni Panozzo, Quinn Grovesteen-Matchey and Braylon Jenkins.
