HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — The Humane Society of Henderson County is in need of help from the community.

Officials say they will officially begin much-needed repairs at the shelter on Monday, August 25th.

However, officials say in order for work to be completed safely, they need to clear out the kennel areas.

Residents are asked to foster dogs while repairs are underway.

Humane Society staff says they will provide supplies for those who decide to foster.

Those interested can call the shelter at (270)-826-8966 or can send a message to the Humane Society of Henderson County.
