Mayor Wu announced today she's appointed Rachel Skerritt to a vacant position on the Boston School Committee.

Skerritt, who went to Boston Latin School, later served as its head of school for five years, after time spent as a BPS teacher and administrator and as an administrator in the Washington, DC school system. She is currently chief strategy officer at Attuned Education Partners, a New Jersey-based consulting firm for school districts.
